The Park of the Villa Doria Pamphilj (January 7, 2016)

The apartment I am currently staying at is just a stone's throw away from the largest park in Rome. Its 9-km circumference encompasses Baroque architecture and commanding views of natural features. It is a splendid running spot.

The park was laid out in 1644-52 for Prince Camillo Pamphilj, nephew of Innocent X.
The Villa Doria Pamphilj dates from 1644-52. It was designed by Alessandro Algardi.

Umbrella pines.

I see a squirrel or a dinosaur.
